Piney Woods Fair 2025

Post 86 Thanks Our Supporters and Welcomes New Members!

The American Legion Post 86 recently wrapped up four successful days at the Piney Woods Fair here in Nacogdoches, and while the crowds may have been a little sparse, our spirits—and our mission—were as strong as ever!

We want to send a huge thank you to all the incredible people who stopped by our booth. Your support means the world to us and allows us to continue our work helping veterans, their families, and the Nacogdoches community. Every conversation, every handshake, and every donation reminds us of the strong community we’re a part of.

A Warm Welcome to New Post 86 Veterans

One of the most rewarding parts of the event was welcoming new veterans into the Post 86 family. If you’re one of the veterans who decided to join us at the fair, we’re thrilled to have you! The American Legion is strongest when we stand together, and we look forward to serving with you.

If you’re a veteran who missed the fair but is interested in joining Post 86, please don’t hesitate to reach out! We’re always looking for fellow service members to help us fulfill our mission of Veteran, Community, and National service.

Post 86 Leadership in the Community

A special thanks goes out to the dedicated members and leaders who volunteered their time to staff the booth, share information, and connect with the public.

Their commitment is a testament to the dedication of all the members of American Legion Post 86.

We look forward to seeing you all at our next community event! Until then, For God and Country!
